Inspect rather than assume
New does not always mean untouched.
A newly supplied vehicle may be excellent, or it may carry small traces of transport, storage and handover. The point is not to assume that every car has defects; it is to establish the real delivery condition before anything is sealed beneath protection.

A new car does not automatically need aggressive correction. Black Haven inspects it first, checks the paint and carries out only the preparation and suitable light refinement justified by its condition.

If practical, you can ask the supplying dealer not to wash or polish the vehicle and share the expected collection or delivery date with Black Haven. This is not mandatory; it simply offers a clearer opportunity to inspect the real delivery condition before unnecessary preparation.

Heavier defects need the right correction plan.
New Car Protection includes suitable light refinement. If meaningful correction is needed, Black Haven will explain the condition and discuss a different preparation plan before protection rather than polishing aggressively by default.

Not every new car needs the same work, but delivery does not guarantee a contamination-free or defect-free finish. Inspection establishes what, if anything, needs attention before protection.
What is included in New Car Protection?
The package covers delivery-condition inspection, safe exterior preparation, required decontamination, paint readings, suitable light refinement, panel preparation, protection for paint, exterior glass and visible wheel faces, documentation and aftercare.
Does New Car Protection include ceramic coating?
Yes. Premium ceramic paint protection is included after the finish has been inspected and suitably prepared.
Are the wheels protected too?
Yes. Visible wheel-face protection is included. This does not imply wheel removal or coating the full inner barrels.
Is exterior glass protection included?
Yes. Exterior-glass protection is included. Interior glass coating, permanent water repellency and maintenance-free glass are not implied.
Does a new car need machine polishing?
Not automatically. Black Haven inspects first and carries out only suitable light refinement that the delivery condition genuinely needs.
Should I ask the dealer not to wash or polish my new car?
If practical, you can make that preference clear without creating conflict. It gives Black Haven a cleaner opportunity to inspect the true delivery condition and avoid unnecessary preparation.
When should I book New Car Protection?
Share the expected collection or delivery date as early as practical. The appointment still depends on the confirmed vehicle, location and suitable working conditions.
What happens if my new car arrives with heavier paint defects?
Black Haven will not chase substantial defects aggressively within this package. A different preparation or correction plan may need to be discussed before protection. Understand Paint Correction.
Will ceramic protection stop scratches and stone chips?
No. Ceramic protection is not scratch-proof and does not provide paint-protection-film-style physical impact resistance. Correct washing and realistic care remain important.
Is New Car Protection the same as Ceramic Protection?
No. New Car Protection makes the delivery condition part of the job and includes paint, exterior-glass and visible wheel-face protection. Ceramic Protection is primarily for suitable paint that already presents well. Compare Ceramic Protection.
Can New Car Protection be carried out at my home?
Potentially. Black Haven Vehicle Care is mobile, but protection application requires suitable working space, lighting, weather, drying and curing conditions. Those practical requirements are confirmed before booking.
